Warehouse Janitorial Associate

Responsibilities

• Clean restrooms and break areas (indoor/outdoor) and office areas.
• Sweep, mop, dust and empty trash.
• Maintain clean, orderly aisles at all times; replace clean bags and other items.
• Perform periodic deep cleaning as needed.
• Follow all safety and quality standards.
• Complete any other basic cleaning tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move containers up to 49 lbs.
• Frequent walking inside and around facilities throughout the shift.
• Capable of standing and walking up to 10–12 hours per shift.
• Pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to read and interpret safety, operations and maintenance documents, procedure manuals and safe-handling sheets for chemicals (typically in English; may be in Spanish where state law requires).
• Hand–eye, foot-pedal, manual (pinch, grasp, grip) and wrist (repetitive flexion/rotation) dexterity.

Schedule

Shifts vary by day and evening, including weekends. Available schedule: Thursday–Saturday 7:00 pm–5:30 am.

Pay

$16.30 per hour.

KBS uses the mobile timekeeping app KBSPresence to record hours, manage attendance, deliver required training and share important work information. Non-exempt employees must download and use the app on their personal mobile devices to clock in/out and for breaks. Local law permitting, a cell-phone usage reimbursement is available to support personal-device use for work.
