Responsibilities

• Cleaning restrooms, break areas (indoor/outdoor), and office areas
• Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and removing trash
• Ensuring all walkways are clean and tidy at all times
• Cleaning totes and other items
• Performing deep cleaning as needed
• Following all safety and quality standards
• Other basic janitorial duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds
• Walking in and around the facility with great frequency throughout the entire shift
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and chemical safety sheets (generally in English; may have Spanish where state required)
• Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals), manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation)

All non-exempt employees are required to download and use the KBSPresence mobile timekeeping app on their personal devices to clock in/out for shifts and breaks. Cell phone reimbursement is provided in accordance with local laws.

Schedule

Days and nights vary, including weekends. Shift example: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM.

Pay

Starting pay: $16.90 per hour. Progressive pay increases: $0.50 after 90 days and $0.30 after 180 days (available at select locations).
