Warehouse Inventory Specialist

Job Summary

Meyer Distributing is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Specialist to join their Denver, CO team. This position works closely with Meyer Logistics, a transportation company that supports Meyer Distributing's national shipping network.

Education/Certification

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Training

A minimum of one month of on-the-job training is required.

Experience

• Previous warehouse experience and ability to operate a forklift or man lift is preferred.

Starting Pay

Based on experience: $22.00-$25.00

Schedule

Monday- Friday: 6:00 am - 3:00 pm

Inventory Control Duties

• Locating inventory that is on the warehouse site, but not located in the correct location
• Handle all details associated with inventory transfers
• Perform cycle counts
• Handle details associated with stock adjustments and returns
• Communicate with Meyer warehouse lead and logistics to determine the most efficient way to deliver/return items to the vendor
• Receive and approve vendor credit invoices
• Research discrepancies
• Handle research of receiving and invoice issues
