Warehouse General Worker I

Overview

Perform a wide variety of manual duties that involve physical labor.
Responsibilities include:

• Loads and unloads cartons / boxes of merchandise, materials, and product onto or off of trailers / trucks which involve the ability to lift cartons overhead.
• Spend majority of working hours lifting to 50 lbs. on a continuous basis.
• Determine where cartons need to be sorted and placed.
• Stacks cartons / boxes onto pallets.
• Maintain and verifies documentation to facilitate the flow of merchandise onto trailers / trucks.
• Identify and remove defective products.
• Put freight away in designated areas.

Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as business demands are deemed necessary.

Qualifications

Education Qualifications:

• High School GED or Work equivalent

Preferred Skills And Abilities:

• Reading and writing English, knowledge of airport codes destinations and basic geography knowledge.
• (Medium proficiency) typing skills/or data entry skills.
• Participates in safety policies, activities and implementations.
• Specialized computer knowledge.

Wage Range

The wage range for this position is $19.06-$24.00 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.
