General Warehouse Worker
Responsibilities
- Pack/Wrap products & pallets with high quality
- Understand & implement standard 5S principles
- Maintain a safe working environment for all
- Manually team lift/move boxes weighing up to 60lbs
- Collaborate in the unloading of arriving containers
- Verify product specifications (Dimensions/SKUs/Labels/Lots)
- Operate machines associated with the packaging process
- Able to operate sit down lift (Certification required)
- Understand shop order quality information
- Participate/Comply with SOPs & SOP trainings
- Adhere to Supervisor/Team Leader work instructions
- Flexible to perform different requested/assigned tasks in other areas
- Able to read/write/speak basic English
- Able to read/write/speak Spanish (Preferred)
- Attend weekly pre-defined work schedule
- Participate/Comply with EHS regulations & trainings
- Clean/Housekeep work area as needed each day
- Perform any other task requested by his/her supervisor
Qualifications
- Fast-paced packing & warehouse environment
- High School diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
- Ability to operate sit down lift trucks safely & efficiently
- Lift certified or ability to obtain certification
- Basic problem solving & decision-making
- Basic math & counting accuracy/consistency
- Strong work ethic with attention to details
- Follow tasks within standards/procedures
- Flexible to perform different requested/assigned tasks
- Able to read/write/speak basic English
- Able to read/write/speak Spanish (Preferred)
- Attend weekly pre-defined work schedule
- Participate/Comply with EHS regulations & trainings
- Clean/Housekeep work area as needed each day
Work Environment
The work environment is in a warehouse distribution setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately medium. This is a non-climate-controlled facility.
