Warehouse General Worker I

Overview

Perform a wide variety of manual duties that involve physical labor.
Responsibilities include loading and unloading cartons/boxes of merchandise, materials, and product onto or off of trailers/trucks, determining where cartons need to be sorted and placed, stacking cartons/boxes onto pallets, maintaining and verifying documentation, identifying and removing defective products, and putting freight away in designated areas.
Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as business demands are deemed necessary.

Qualifications

• Education: High School GED or Work equivalent
• Preferred Skills and Abilities:
  • Reading and writing English
  • Knowledge of airport codes, destinations, and basic geography
  • Typing skills or data entry skills
  • Participation in safety policies, activities, and implementations
  • Specialized computer knowledge
