Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Memphis, TN. This position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career path you can feel good about.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound products such as bolts, cables, reels, wires, and anchors.
  • Operate computer, stand-up and sit-down forklifts, and pallet jacks.
  • Use Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Enter orders into a WMS system.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment.
  • Support the automated packing system during peak production hours.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.
  • A valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
  • Strong technical aptitude, including using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work within a diverse work environment.
  • Punctuality and good attendance record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.

Pay

$16.50 per hour.

Schedule

First Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.
