Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock audits, and ensure the availability of necessary materials and equipment.
- Staging of Install Materials: Prepare all materials for install projects and assist installers in loading.
- Core Returns: Manage all core returns to Materials Manager, Parts Department or outside vendors.
- Class 2 MISC Supplies: Maintain accurate levels of field supplies such as fasteners, drill bits, caulking, cleaning supplies.
- Receiving and Dispatching: Oversee the receiving, inspection, and storage of incoming materials and equipment. Coordinate the dispatch of materials to construction sites as needed. Receipt of PO’s in BAAN.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and transportation companies to ensure timely delivery of materials. Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Manage PPE for all field technicians.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain an organized and clean warehouse. Implement efficient storage solutions and layout plans to maximize space utilization.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and warehouse performance. Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.
- Budget Management: Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper maintenance and servicing of warehouse equipment and machinery. Schedule repairs and replacements as necessary.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Address inquiries and resolve issues related to warehouse operations.
- Completing deliveries and going out on installations as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Self-motivated with desire to learn and make improvements.
- Quality conscious with high degree of accuracy.
- Must have at least one year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Must have at least one year of experience in a cycle counting process.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Must have some ERP/Microsoft Office computer experience.
- Must be able to lift at least 110 lbs.
- Much of the day will be spent on the manufacturing floor.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management best practices and inventory control.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
