What To Expect On The Job

• Accurately store, ship, receive, cycle count, and ensure location accuracy for all products in either frozen or dry goods warehouse areas.
• Work effectively with other organizations daily.
• Utilize current ERP application and/or RF technology equipment.
• Operate forklifts for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, kitting, and counting products.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of forklifts.
• Unload and move inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations or production floor.
• Stack and store product in the appropriate area.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the exact quantity and type of product is loaded and shipped.
• Fulfill work orders per manufacturing schedule.
• Issue materials or return material in real-time via RF technology to/from work-orders.
• Check or count freight for accuracy and/or damage and infestation.
• Keep appropriate records and reports to maintain tight inventory control and security.
• Ensure proper stock rotation via FIFO principles.
• Utilize inventory control systems and processes for daily activities.
• Operate forklifts with experience and capability to work in cold storage environments.
• Communicate effectively with various stakeholders including Freight suppliers, Import/Export, Freight forwarders, Packaging/Corrugated vendors, Manufacturing personnel, Customer Service, Engineering, Finance, and others as needed.
• Analyze and reconcile inventory variances.
• Maintain an organized warehouse and receiving/shipping dock.
• Interface with MIS on enhancements or problems with the system application and/or initiate necessary improvements or corrections for inventory control issues.
