Warehouse Coordinator - 2nd shift

About the role

Ryder is hiring a Permanent Full-Time Warehouse Coordinator in Kansas City, Missouri. The role supports warehouse operations by managing dock schedules, coordinating with carriers, using WMS and MS Office, and maintaining safety with state‑of‑the‑art equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting standard facility Key Performance Indicators (KPI) which consistently meet/exceed established goals in safety, quality, sanitation and maintenance
• Create and maintain daily dock schedules
• Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and updating load statuses
• Work closely with Operations Supervisor to ensure the work load is being distributed properly and evenly by managing WMS down to the floor
• Work closely with the inventory department and on‑site personnel to resolve problems with the day's orders
• Interact with the customer to communicate order changes and updates
• Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports
• Perform other duties as required or assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1‑2 years of warehouse experience
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel)
• Working knowledge of WMS systems
• Forklift experience
• Equipment certification may be required, depending on location
• Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned

Pay

Hourly pay: $24.00 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour for second‑shift work. Pay is issued weekly.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM.
