Warehouse Blending Lead

Responsibilities

• Produce product to customer quality expectation in a safe proficient manner paying extreme attention to detail in regard to documentation
• Provide basic training to new workers
• Communicate their needs with warehouse personnel to ensure no interruption to production. And enforce all GMPs at all times of production
• Determine items with quality concerns and communicate to quality control for inspection
• Ensure production is properly identified according to specification
• Ensure measuring devices used for production are in calibration and document their identifying number in the Production Batch Record
• Avoid contamination and maintain a clean and safe work area
• Batching and Blending: oversee the cleaning of the production area and preparing it for interaction with Sanitation
• Assure compliance with all SQF Procedure requirements
• Assure compliance with all GMP requirements
• Assure all products are manufactured in a safe, quality manner
• Assure compliance with all customer specifications
• Promote and enforce compliance with all employees

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year to Three (3) years or more in related experience
• Experience with flavor systems, flavor development, and sensory evaluation techniques (Intermediate)
• Strong formulation skills (Intermediate)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments
• Excellent organizational skills
• Detailed oriented with excellent follow-up practices

Qualifications

• Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

Pay

• Hourly Pay $21.00 per hour
