Job Responsibilities
- Loading: Load 53ft trailers "high and tight" using a pallet jack to transport pallets/racks inside the trailer.
- Loading: Scan a barcode on each pallet before taking it inside the trailer.
- Loading: Lift and load tires of varying sizes and weights (5 lbs to 100 lbs).
- Loading: Complete trailer loading within 2 hours once trained.
- Unloading: Unload fully packed trailers or containers onto pallets/racks.
- Unloading: Transport unloaded pallets/racks back into the trailer using a pallet jack.
- Unloading: Ensure not to mix different types of tires during unloading.
- Unloading: Complete trailer unloading within 1-3 hours once trained.
Job Requirements
- Show up on time and stay the full shift.
- Be self-motivated.
- Able to maintain a high and consistent rate of production.
- Able to lift, bend, stoop, and stand for the entire shift.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
Pay
Paid per 100lbs moved.
Pay day is each Friday.
Average weekly pay: $500–$700
Top performers earn $1100 plus a week.
Pay is based on your production which should increase over time once your training is complete.
Safety Requirements
- Steel toed or composite toed shoes.
- A company provided safety vest.
- Stretching before shift.
