Warehouse Associate - Unloader

About the role

The Warehouse Associate 1 supports the inbound and outbound operations by unloading trailers, moving furniture with dollies and pallet jacks, ensuring correct assembly and shipping of customer orders, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers by hand
• Move furniture with dollies and pallet jacks
• Ensure outbound picked furniture matches invoices before loading into contractors' vehicles for delivery
• Prepare customers' orders and monitor shipments to ensure proper assembly
• Use proper lifting techniques and RF scanners to scan labels for accurate product shipment
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Conduct operations in compliance with OSHA standards
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Work in a warehouse environment enduring climate changes

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1-2 years' experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Ability to lift and move products up to 100 lbs
• Knowledge of OSHA standards
• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Experience working in a warehouse environment

Benefits

• Compensation range: $17.40 - $22.60 per hour
• Overtime pay available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members
