Warehouse Associate (Loader/ Unloader)

About the role

Responsibilities

• Loading:
  • Hand-load boxes from a conveyor belt onto trailers.
  • Scan each box into the trailer using a handheld scanner.
  • Move cages to and from staging areas.
  • Load trailers quickly, safely, neatly, and accurately.
• Unloading:
  • Unload floor-loaded trailers by placing boxes onto a conveyor belt.
  • Scan boxes as they are unloaded.
  • Sort boxes into designated cages.

Requirements

• Excellent attendance is required.
• Must arrive on time for every shift.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• Must be able to lift and carry 5–50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Must be able to perform consistent physical work for extended periods.

Pay

• Paid per trailer – performance-based pay.
• Earn approximately $200–$250 per day.
• Average earnings of $16 minimum–$25 per hour or more.
• Paid per case loaded and unloaded.
• The more work you complete, the more you earn.

Schedule

• 4-day workweek (4 x 10-hour shifts per week).
• Inquire about shifts during your interview.
• Overtime as needed for business demands.
