Warehouse Associate/Driver
About the role
The Warehouse Associate/Driver plays a crucial role in Rexel USA's operations, focusing on efficient and accurate handling of orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping materials. This role includes driving responsibilities for up to 50% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to a safe and secure work environment
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety rules
- Verify quantities and descriptions of materials received
- Stock incoming orders and ensure correct shipment preparation
- Operate machinery and perform minor equipment maintenance
- Perform inventory counts and resolve discrepancies
- Deliver products to customers, company locations, and suppliers
- Inspect and maintain delivery vehicles
- Handle material returns and inspect for damages
- Assist in training new drivers and providing mentorship
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- No prior experience required
- Prior warehouse experience is a plus
- Preferred forklift, hand truck, and other equipment certifications
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 21 years old
- Pre-employment and annual motor vehicle record checks
- Medical certificate within 30 days of hire
- No suspended driver’s license for the past 3 years
- No at-fault accidents in the past 3 years
- High School or GED diploma preferred
- General knowledge of electrical products is beneficial
- Basic computer skills
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle basic mathematical calculations
- Knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws
- Willingness to adhere to assigned routes and schedules

Pay
The starting pay range for this role is $17.33 to $23.82 per hour, depending on qualifications, experience, and other considerations permitted by law.
