Warehouse Associate/Driver
About the role
Fisk Electric, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Driver to join their team in Houston, TX. Since 1913, Fisk has been one of the nation’s leading providers for the design, installation and maintenance of electrical systems, structured cabling applications, integrated electronic security systems, and building technology solutions. Notable projects include The Purple Line (D Line) Extensions in Los Angeles, SR 99 Viaduct replacement tunnel in Seattle, MGM Grand and City Center projects in Las Vegas, Third Street Light Rail in San Francisco, Minute Maid Park in Houston, and multiple airport expansions and data center projects.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload shipping containers and handle materials into the storage and warehouse area.
- Inspect the condition of materials and equipment received.
- Handle and stage materials to ensure an efficient distribution of outgoing and incoming deliveries from the warehouse to the jobsite.
- Load deliveries on company vehicles and deliver to various projects as needed.
- Maintain Inventory of warehouse stock on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
- Must be able to drive a 14’ flatbed and ¾ ton truck.
- Must be certified to operate a forklift.
- Must possess a valid Texas Drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Basic computer skills required.
- High school diploma or its equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or similar experience.
- Able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
