About the role

The Warehouse Associate and Backup Drivers at POOLCORP play crucial roles in supporting the team and our customers. They ensure accurate and safe order fulfillment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pull, fill, pack, and set up orders for delivery or pickup.
  • Assist in loading the delivery truck.
  • Receive shipments, log into inventory, and maintain inventory through audits.
  • Communicate positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers, and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-ups.
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, maintain required certification, perform vehicle safety checks, and report discrepancies to supervisor.
  • Absorb and communicate instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least 21 years old.
  • A valid driver's license (CDL with HAZMAT endorsement preferred).
  • Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) indicating no more than 2 combined violations or at fault accidents in the past 3 years.
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to maneuver heavy objects, some weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Prior forklift experience.
  • Prior experience in distribution, general labor, or warehousing preferred.

Pay and Schedule

  • $18 - $22 / hour and up to $2,500 through our performance bonuses.
  • Work Hours: Monday - Friday 7AM - 4PM Rotating Saturdays during summer season 8AM - 12PM.
