Warehouse Associate/Back-Up Driver

About the role

We have a great opportunity for a motivated Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) to join our team! You will ensure products get where they need to be by receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, and assisting with general maintenance of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship orders using an RF scanner. Orders range from a small box to pallets.
• Receive and store inventory in a safe and correct manner.
• Perform cycle counts regularly.
• Record damaged or defective materials.
• Drive company truck(s) with great care, assuring compliance with all prevailing traffic laws and legal speed limits, and safety protocol.
• Provide associates with possible solutions and/or appropriate contact information when problems arise; report observations of customer opportunities and problems to the Warehouse Manager.
• Load and unload materials from truck in an accurate, efficient, and safe manner, utilizing proper body mechanics and proper equipment (e.g., forklift).
• Receive and check-in deliveries, pickups, and returns to ensure quality and quantity of products.
• Cut wire, rod, or strut, safely utilizing the appropriate equipment.
• Sweep floors, remove trash, and otherwise maintain the warehouse in a tidy and safe condition.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Willing to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jackets. You will also use push carts and rolling ladders.
• Ability to obtain DOT medical certification for driving responsibilities.
• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles.
• Ability to unload material at customer site, including heavy and bulky items.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation.
• Basic problem-solving skills and computer skills.

Pay

Starting Rate: $20-$22 per hour

Schedule

7 AM - 4 PM, Monday through Friday
