Warehouse Associate - 2nd Shift - Mon-Fri

Responsibilities

• Assure property safety procedures are followed.
• Assure compliance with company policies at all times.
• Maintain facilities through housekeeping and 5S standards.
• Ensure high-quality standards in operational processes.
• Complete daily operations efficiently to meet goals.
• Meet or exceed labor standards and KPIs.
• Process inventory transactions physically and systematically by case or pair.
• Perform processing activities as defined by work instructions in functional areas.
• Operate equipment required by the functional work area (e.g., carton erector).
• Work at a steady pace with a sense of urgency.
• Maintain high attention to detail.
• Pack cartons neatly and orderly.
• Ensure correct shipping labels are applied to outbound cartons.
• Perform quality assurance activities as required.
• Perform value-add activities as needed.
• Assist in resolving operational issues.
• Communicate operational errors to supervisors.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices.
• Adopt and support changes in policies and procedures.
• Train and participate in cross-training activities.
• Maintain equipment and supply stocks.
• Perform 5S audits and safety inspections as requested.
• Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Learn new order processing technology.
• Assist in other areas of the operation as needed.
• Take direction and feedback effectively.
• Comprehend and apply work instructions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years’ experience in a distribution environment.
• Experience using RF devices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodation.
• Able to be on feet for the entire shift.
• May be required to work at heights, such as mezzanines, and use ladders to fix carton jams.
• Capable of performing basic math.
• Remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
• Must be able to work extended hours or days.
