Warehouse Associate 1st Shift

About the role

Cornerstone Building Brands is a leading manufacturer of exterior building products for residential and low-rise non-residential buildings in North America. The position is located at 1455 HWY 71 West, Bastrop, TX 78602.

Pay

Base pay rate is $17.75 per hour.

Schedule

Shift: 7:30AM – 5:00PM, Monday – Friday.

Responsibilities

• Perform material and product loading and unloading activities to support the branch location.
• Operate a forklift, overhead crane and construction tools.
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage.
• Assist co-workers and customers.
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas.
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment.

Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
