About the role

Parts Authority is seeking motivated Warehouse Associates to join our growing team at our Windsor Locks, CT location.

Schedule

• 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Receive, label, and store incoming shipments
• Assess stock for damages and keep records of damages
• Maintain concise records of all inventory and stock
• Accurately fill customer orders and pick parts to fulfill orders
• Scan items into the warehouse management system
• Organize warehouse space
• Prepare orders for shipment
• Record exact arrival and departure times for shipments
• Operate stock management tools, including powered industrial equipment and pallet jacks
• Count stock and maintain inventory records
• Perform routine cleaning duties
• Interface with management to ensure key objectives are realized
• Maintain safety regulations and compliance with all applicable regulations

Requirements

• Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal
• Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
• Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 100 lbs
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach
• Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/or stairs) or balance
• May be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
• Attention to detail
