Warehouse Associate 1st shift
About the role
Hayden Industrial, a leading manufacturer of industrial cooling systems, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to prepare and organize parts, components, and materials into kits for the assembly line. This role ensures that production teams receive accurate and timely kits to maintain efficient workflow and meet production schedules.
This position involves safety-sensitive job duties and will be considered a safety-sensitive position under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act (“The Unity Bill”).
Responsibilities
- Pick and organize parts according to work orders and bill of materials (BOM).
- Assemble kits accurately and label them for identification.
- Verify quantities and quality of components before kitting.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by recording transactions in the warehouse management system in Glovia.
- Communicate with production and purchasing teams to resolve shortages or discrepancies.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and BOMs.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
Work Environment
Non-temperature controlled environment with loud noises, dust, dirt, and metal particles typical of metal fabrication shops. All employees are required to wear personal protective equipment, including noise/hearing protection, safety glasses with side shields, paint masks or respirators when required, and OSHA-compliant safety boots/shoes within the manufacturing facility.

- Regularly stand for long periods of time.
- Walk, reach, ascend/descend ladders, bend, kneel, and stoop.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Schedule
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
