About the role

The role involves coordinating activities for large or high-volume locations to ensure smooth operations, serving as a subject matter expert for warehousing issues, guiding and mentoring associate coordinators, collaborating with other functions and logistics advisors, engaging with individuals issuing, packing, and shipping orders, analyzing delivery processes, participating in stewardship activities, and assisting in identifying and resolving critical issues.

Responsibilities

  • Provide coordination activities for large or high-volume locations to ensure smooth operations
  • Act as SME for warehousing issues and participate in major Management of Change processes
  • Mentor and guide associate coordinators on process and tool-related issues to build team capability
  • Collaborate with other functions, logistics advisors, and Third Party Service Providers (TPSPs) to identify and improve processes, contracts, and tools
  • Engage with individuals issuing, packing, and shipping orders to ensure order accuracy and proactively manage warehouse capacity
  • Analyze delivery processes to improve on-time delivery to end users and track defective or damaged goods until proper disposition or credit is obtained
  • Participate in stewardship and other engagements as needed to ensure warehouses meet contractual obligations and adequately support business needs
  • Assist in identifying and resolving issues at and beyond the warehouse level

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business (or equivalent direct and relevant experience)
  • +5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations
  • Experience working with third-party service providers
  • Strong problem-solving and operational troubleshooting skills
  • Experience in process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Experience with inventory management, order fulfillment, and warehouse processes
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business (or equivalent direct and relevant experience)
  • +8 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations
  • Experience in high-volume or complex warehouse environments
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring or leading junior team members
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Experience in contract stewardship and overseeing third-party service provider operations
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration (Planning, Customer Service, Transportation)
