About the Role

Provide specialized cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular anesthesia services as part of a tenured clinical team in Shreveport, LA. This is the final opening on a long‑standing team of three CRNAs and one MD, offering a low cost of living, rich culture, and outdoor recreation in Louisiana’s third‑largest city.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular anesthesia care for diverse patient populations.
• Participate in a 1:4 call rotation, with post‑call days off as dictated by the CV schedule.
• Collaborate daily with a team of three CRNAs and one MD to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adapt to changing clinical situations and manage anesthesia plans accordingly.

Requirements

• Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Re‑Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
• Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Louisiana (or willingness to obtain them).
• Minimum 1–3 years of CRNA experience with proficiency in cardiac cases.
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to perform anesthesia management for diverse patients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Ability to adapt to changing clinical situations and deliver optimal care.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Proficiency in cardiac anesthesiology is required.

Pay

Schedule
