About the role
Sales Development Role for Student‑Athletes – full‑time opportunity open to graduates and recent grads. Locations: San Mateo, CA; Austin, TX; Tampa, FL; Phoenix, AZ; New York, NY; Salt Lake City, UT. This role is exclusively for current or former collegiate student‑athletes joining Verkada’s Sales Development Program to build a tech‑sales career.
Responsibilities
- Start your career in tech sales with structured training and real coaching
- Learn how to prospect, cold call, and book meetings with business leaders
- Work closely with Account Executives and Sales Leaders to grow your skills
- Compete and thrive in a high‑energy, team‑oriented environment
- Get promoted to Account Executive in as little as 6–12 months based on performance
Requirements
- Collegiate athletic experience (all divisions welcome)
- Competitive spirit and strong work ethic
- Desire to grow, be coached, and win
- No sales experience required—just the athlete mindset
Schedule
Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week.

Pay
Estimated Annual On‑Target Earnings (OTE) range: $50,000—$60,000 USD (base + commissions). Additional compensation may include sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity (RSUs).
