About the Role
The primary responsibility of the Graduate Research Assistant is to work directly with Dr. Yoo on research projects focused on virtual reality (VR) gaming, sport consumer behavior, online consumer behavior, and related areas. This role involves assisting the Principal Investigator (PI) in various non-administrative tasks to support research activities.

- Communication: Clearly and effectively communicate with Dr. Jinhee Yoo (PI) and research participants for recruiting, coordinating experiment sessions, and executing research experiments.
- Professionalism: Understand and respect the confidentiality of research participants, demonstrating punctuality and respect for both the PI and participants.
Responsibilities
- Preparing resources, equipment, and materials for research.
- Recruiting research participants.
- Executing research experiments and data collection.
- Documenting results.
Requirements
- Must be a Gannon University graduate student enrolled for both the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters, available to work throughout the entire 2026/2027 academic year.
- Graduate students in Business, Psychology, Communications, Engineering, or related fields only.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Proficient in using Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Should not have any limitations using VR headsets (e.g., no history of seizure or epilepsy).

- Responsible, professional, proactive, and detail-oriented candidate.
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the demands of the research schedule.
- Strong sales experience or demonstrated outreach and engagement skills.
Schedule
- Position Length: 9 months (academic year).
- Hours per Week: 10.
- Work Schedule: Office hours depending on data collection schedule, 1st shift.
- Employment Status: Part-time.
Position Type: Graduate Assistant (Research). Non-Exempt.
