About the role
You are the disruption driver. You understand that being disruptive is better than being conventional. You challenge the status quo and push for new models and approaches that introduce unexpected solutions to brand challenges. You build strong relationships with clients and help them realize the true potential of their brands.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to a culture that grows and motivates colleagues and clients to adopt Disruption and new methodologies.
- Mentor junior strategists to foster engagement through learning and development that leads to career growth.
- Develop meaningful and productive senior client relationships to ensure strategic recommendations exceed expectations.
- Facilitate agency and client ideation sessions using Disruption and other facilitation tools.
- Drive client and agency research through new ways of gaining insight into brands.
- Create brand positioning, Disruption roadmaps, and creative briefs.
- Generate insights from a variety of data sources to develop Disruptive creative and brand ideas.
- Contribute to and lead new business pitches by managing customer insight generation.
- Interview target prospects to generate pitch content and story flow from findings.
- Attend live pitch presentations and act as an authority within the opportunity.
- Position the brand effectively based on the insights gathered.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years’ prior work experience, preferably in an agency environment (pharmaceutical experience highly desired).
- Prior internal team and brand strategy experience.
- A foundational skill set defined by Research/data focus, Independence, Patience, Confidence, Leadership, Creativity, and Strategic Agility.
- Oratory talent, verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to command a room.
- Sound judgment and discretion for conflict resolution.
- Able to work hybrid in our NYC office for a minimum of three days a week.
