VP, Sales Consultant - Hartford Territory (Retirement Industry) - Ascensus

About the role

The Vice President, Sales Consultant's primary responsibility is to facilitate the growth of new relationships and business for FuturePlan. This professional will drive sales with financial professionals and strategic alliance platforms to meet assigned sales goals. Includes directly coordinating sales activities for key Plan Sponsor relationships, actively working with (FuturePlan by Ascensus) Internal and External Sales Consultants to drive sales and marketing.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the growth of new relationships and business for FuturePlan.
• Drive sales with financial professionals and strategic alliance platforms to meet assigned sales goals.
• Directly coordinate sales activities for key Plan Sponsor relationships.
• Actively work with (FuturePlan by Ascensus) Internal and External Sales Consultants to drive sales and marketing.

Requirements

• Proven track record in sales and relationship management.
• Experience in the retirement industry preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of financial planning and investment products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales and/or financial services.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
