VP, Regional Planning Consultant- Brea/ Torrance, CA
About the role
The Regional Planning Consultant plays a vital role in supporting investor center associates by reinforcing the principles of consultative selling. You will impact associate development through focused coaching support in the key foundational areas, including communication skills, our product offering and practice management techniques.
Responsibilities
- Develop sales associates through collaboration and mentoring
- Provide subject matter expertise on a broad range of financial planning and investment solutions
- Coordinate with branch management to provide collaborative training to associates
- Encourage the growth of our branch associates and prepare them to become highly proficient and effective sales consultants
- Lead by example and demonstrate organized preparation and effective follow up skills
- Partners with branch consultants in client appointments to support the introduction and implementation of appropriate product solutions
Requirements
- Sales experience in the financial service industry
- Series 7 & 63 licenses (with study time allowed to obtain Series 66 & Insurance licenses within 6 months of hire)
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification preferred

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $118,000-226,000 USD per year. Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Schedule
Fidelity's onsite working model varies based on role and location, with some requiring 100% onsite presence and others requiring less. The transition to a full-time onsite model is ongoing and evolving as the rollout continues.
