About the role
Broadridge is seeking a Vice President, Product Management – Legal and Compliance Solutions to help shape the future of our legal and compliance solutions portfolio. This is a highly visible, high-impact individual contributor role for a senior product leader who brings deep domain expertise, strong strategic judgment, and a proven ability to turn market insight into product growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead product strategy for a critical and growing portfolio
- Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Broadridge’s BBD Legal and Compliance Solutions portfolio.
- Drive product strategy and investment decisions by aligning priorities with client needs, market opportunities, regulatory developments, and business objectives while ensuring the portfolio remains competitive and positioned for long-term growth.
- Identify unmet client needs, market gaps, and expansion opportunities across legal and compliance solutions.
- Partner with business, commercial, and strategy leaders to assess and pursue growth opportunities including a build, partner, or buy lens.
- Contribute to strategic assessments of potential partnerships, acquisitions, and adjacent market opportunities.
- Help bring new ideas from concept to market through structured product incubation and commercialization.
- Execute with focus and influence
- Translate market, client, and business needs into clear product direction and actionable requirements.
- Partner closely with technology, architecture, operations, legal, compliance, and risk teams to drive delivery.
- Navigate dependencies, tradeoffs, and execution risks across a complex stakeholder environment while bringing structure, urgency, and clarity to high-priority initiatives.
- Engage clients and bring market perspective
- Act as a senior product voice in client discussions, strategic reviews, and market-facing engagements.
- Bring the voice of the client into roadmap planning through direct engagement, feedback analysis, and ongoing awareness of competitive offerings, industry trends, and regulatory developments.
- Support go-to-market readiness and help articulate Broadridge’s value proposition in the legal and compliance space.
- Influence across the enterprise
- Operate as a strategic product leader and trusted partner across business, technology, operations, legal, compliance, risk, sales, marketing, and corporate strategy teams.
- Influence decisions and drive alignment across a matrixed organization without direct people management responsibility.
- Communicate product strategy, priorities, progress, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to senior and executive stakeholders.
- Help position Broadridge for the future
- Assess the impact of regulatory change, evolving legal and compliance requirements, and emerging market models on client needs and product strategy.
- Explore implications of digital assets, tokenization, and new regulatory frameworks as they relate to legal and compliance workflows.
- Identify practical, scalable opportunities for Broadridge to support clients as market needs evolve.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in product management, product strategy, or solution leadership within legal, compliance, regulatory technology, financial services, fintech, or another highly regulated environment.
- Deep domain expertise in legal and compliance solutions, with a strong understanding of client workflows, regulatory obligations, and market needs.
- Proven ability to define product strategy and lead execution for complex, business-critical solutions.
- Strong track record of identifying growth opportunities and translating client and market insight into product direction.
- Experience working across technology, operations, commercial, legal, compliance, and risk functions in a matrixed organization.
- Demonstrated success as a strategic, hands-on individual contributor who can influence at senior levels and drive outcomes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Legal Studies, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience evaluating opportunities through build, partner, or buy frameworks.
- Exposure to M&A, including strategic assessment, product fit evaluation, or integration planning.
- Experience launching new products or expanding into adjacent solution areas.
- Familiarity with regulated financial services markets, including broker-dealer, banking, wealth, or capital markets environments.
- Experience with digital assets, tokenization, blockchain, or the legal and compliance implications of emerging digital market structures.
- MBA, JD, or other advanced degree.
