About the Role

Responsible for the overall management and performance of the Slot Department for ACCRS, ACCPS, and ACCCC.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations, including Title 31 Cash Transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting, and Customer Identification requirements.
• Develop Slot gaming procedures in collaboration with the General Manager and Marketing Personnel.
• Monitor staff performance to ensure adherence to Casino policies and procedures.
• Recommend revisions and/or additions to policies and procedures to improve Slot operations.
• Review daily maintenance reports to ensure slots are in proper working order.
• Review daily and monthly reports on Slot revenues, expenditures, and staffing.
• Monitor required maintenance on Slots, including changing chips, logic boards, Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory (EPROM), and programming.
• Oversee initial installation, removal, and movement of all Slots.
• Maintain open communication and meet regularly with the General Manager.
• Monitor Slot budget on a monthly basis.
• Run change for guests.
• Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems.
• Provide excellent guest service.
• Comply with all applicable ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, Standard Operating Procedures, and all Tribal Regulations.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Manage subordinate managers who supervise employees in the Slot Department.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning work, appraising performance, rewarding, disciplining, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required; undergraduate degree preferred.
• 5 or more years of casino-related experience and/or training in slot operations, or a combination of education and experience in electronics and management skills.
• Must be able to communicate in English.

Working Conditions

• Must be able to stand, move, and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1½ miles, climbing stairs, and sitting at a desk/workstation for the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may escalate in the casino environment.
• Must be able to grasp, bend, lift, and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis.
