Summary/Objective

The Vice President of Sales is an individual contributor responsible for revenue generation through a combination of new business development and existing client services expansion into large hospitals and health systems across the country. This role involves outbound calls, email campaigns, industry association participation, and on-site visits to prospective and current clients. The position is responsible for establishing solid client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability, and selling the full suite of Omega Healthcare products and services across revenue cycle and clinical management.

Responsibilities

  • Daily planning, networking, sourcing, cold calling, client visits, and follow-up activities targeting customers in designated segments or target lists within the healthcare industry, focusing on acute care facilities, large physician practices, and medical insurance entities.
  • Increase current client revenue through ongoing communication aimed at expanding services, obtaining additional job orders, extending assignments, and identifying future needs.
  • Network continuously through existing contacts, associations, organizations, publications, trade shows, social media, and other industry sources.
  • Listen to client needs, analyze requirements, and provide solutions through company services, remaining responsive to changing customer business environments.
  • Identify needs and secure job orders for Omega Healthcare’s revenue cycle management products and services, including staffing and project consulting.
  • Fully utilize sales management software to monitor activities and ensure goals and targets are met.
  • Build relationships with revenue cycle clients up to the Executive level through exceptional service characterized by mutual respect, understanding, and trust.
  • Participate in the preparation of sales plans, campaigns, business plans, and product development plans, understanding regional or account-specific nuances.
  • Develop and conduct value-driven sales presentations individually or jointly with service line content experts.
  • Perform duties in compliance with company policies and procedures, including HIPAA and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or advanced formal training within the field.
  • Strong understanding of revenue cycle management.
  • Proven track record of selling new logos with annual revenue up to $1M.
  • Minimum of 7 years of sales experience within the healthcare industry.

Work Environment

This job operates in a remote home office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

Physical Demands

While performing duties, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle objects/tools, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Schedule

This is a full-time position, generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional long hours and weekend work may be required.

Travel

Up to 30% travel is required.
