About the role
We're looking for a VP of Sales who is both a strategic leader and an active, in-the-field seller — a true player-coach. This role owns go-to-market strategy and revenue across the full integrated suite, builds a consultative, needs-first selling motion, and develops the sales leadership bench below them.
Responsibilities
- Go-to-Market & Customer Ownership
- Own go-to-market strategy across the full integrated suite — one coherent path to market regardless of which product a customer enters through.
- Own the customer holistically across the funnel: a single 360-degree relationship, not a series of separate product pitches.
- Build and drive a consultative selling model that diagnoses customer needs first, then maps the right products and services to fit.
- Own the enterprise/strategic account motion as its own discipline, distinct from SMB and self-serve/team-led motions.
- Personal Sales & Closing
- Personally own and close a portfolio of key deals — strategic accounts, larger teams, and brokerage-level opportunities.
- Lead by example on discovery, demos, negotiation, and close.
- Jump into team deals as needed on objections, pricing, and complex multi-product cycles.
- Team & Leadership
- Recruit, hire, and coach a high-performing sales org; build the leadership bench below this role by developing managers and directors, not just reps.
- Design cross-sell/upsell motions across the suite; build comp plans, quotas, and territory/segment structures aligned to company goals.
- Run pipeline reviews, forecasting, and coaching cadences.
- Revenue & Forecasting
- Own forecasting, pipeline reporting, and revenue visibility across the whole portfolio — one source of truth for the CRO and executive team.
- Deliver against ARR/bookings targets across new business, cross-sell, and expansion.
- Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner with Marketing on pipeline generation and conversion; with Customer Success on handoffs, NRR, and churn.
- Own the sales tech stack to maximize rep productivity.
- Feed competitive intel and customer feedback to Product and Marketing leadership.
Requirements
- 8+ years in SaaS sales, including 3–5+ years in senior sales leadership managing managers — while still actively selling and closing.
- Proven player-coach track record: personal quota/closing alongside team leadership.
- Experience building and scaling teams in a subscription/recurring-revenue business, ideally with a multi-product ecosystem (bundling, cross-sell, upsell).
- Experience building or running a distinct enterprise/strategic account motion.
- Deep fluency with SaaS metrics: CAC, LTV, win rates, sales cycle, pipeline coverage, NRR/GRR.
- Track record developing sales managers/directors, not just individual reps.
- Real estate, proptech, or vertical SaaS experience a strong plus.
- CRM fluency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
Nice to Have
- Existing network/credibility in the real estate industry.
- Experience selling both self-serve/PLG-adjacent and high-touch enterprise motions.
- Background scaling a company through Series B–D or similar growth inflection.
Pay
$150,000-$200,000/year, depending on experience, plus variable bonus.
Benefits
- PTO as needed.
- Comprehensive insurance coverage.
- 401(k) match.
- Stock option grants.
- Stock purchase plan.
