VP of Operations - Senior Living

About the role

Clearwater Living is seeking a west-coast-based VP of Operations to oversee and support specific Clearwater Living communities. This position works closely with Executive Directors to ensure high-quality service delivery, excellent customer service, and solid financial performance, while guiding both Executive Directors and department heads.

Responsibilities

• Actively support and articulate the Clearwater Living Pursuit, Purpose, Principles, and Core Values in all interactions with team members, residents, families, vendors, or affiliates.
• Maintain a full working knowledge of all state regulations required for community operations.
• Build relationships with licensing personnel overseeing communities.
• Respond to licensing visits, ensuring proper corrective action plans for any identified deficiencies.
• Develop an overall marketing strategy for assigned communities.
• Promote teamwork through ongoing mentoring, coaching, and recognition programs.
• Recruit, hire, evaluate, motivate, monitor performance, and supervise Executive Directors in alignment with company policy and resident interests.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in senior living, healthcare, or a related industry.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role at a senior living operator, including as an Executive Director.
• At least 3 years of multi-site leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or a related field.
• Current government-required certification or license to manage a community (or working toward it).
• Background clearances as required by government regulations.

Pay

$180,000–$200,000 + bonus opportunities.

Schedule

This position is west-coast-based only, preferably in CA, NV, or AZ.
