VP of Engineering

About the role

This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution, working across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for a global engineering organization across the USA, India, and Latin America
• Design and manage a multi-level management structure while mentoring engineering leaders
• Develop and implement hiring strategies and rigorous evaluation systems for talent acquisition
• Establish a culture of growth and accountability, focusing on performance standards and career pathways
• Refine operational practices including CI/CD, security standards, and performance monitoring across teams
• Foster a culture of execution excellence and continuous improvement in product development
• Drive consistency and alignment in technical and architectural discussions with various stakeholders

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software engineering with 5+ years in a senior leadership role
• Experience managing high-performing distributed engineering teams, especially remote talent
• Deep knowledge managing engineering teams in India and Latin America
• Extensive experience in enterprise software with a focus on configuration and integrations
• Strong understanding of modern SaaS architectures (AWS, TypeScript, React, Distributed Systems)
• Proven capability to align technical priorities with business objectives
• Experience guiding organizations through growth and transformation

Pay

Compensation: $260,000 – $300,000 annually

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
