CSC Generation (Shared Services - US) – Finance is seeking a VP of Corporate Development, Portfolio Operations to join our team in Austin, TX, Los Angeles, CA, or Toronto, Ontario.
About the role
As the VP of Corporate Development, Portfolio Operations, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives that enhance the value proposition of our portfolio of businesses. You will work closely with senior leadership to identify and evaluate potential acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions. Additionally, you will oversee the management of our investment portfolio, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating and executing on strategic acquisitions and divestitures
- Managing and optimizing the company's investment portfolio
- Developing and implementing growth strategies for portfolio companies
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of acquired companies
- Staying current with industry trends and best practices in corporate development and portfolio management
Requirements
- Proven track record of success in corporate development or similar roles
- Experience in managing and growing a portfolio of businesses
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in corporate development or related finance roles
- Knowledge of financial modeling and valuation techniques
