Responsibilities
- Establish and execute a long-term strategy for material damage and property claims aligned with enterprise goals
- Lead large, multi-layered teams with a focus on performance, engagement, and leadership development
- Drive operational excellence through process optimization, automation, and data-driven decision-making
- Promote innovation, including digital transformation and emerging technologies within the claims function
- Ensure best-in-class customer experience through responsive, transparent, and empathetic claims handling
- Partner cross-functionally with underwriting, legal, compliance, and risk to deliver holistic business outcomes
- Maintain rigorous oversight of regulatory compliance, claims governance, and fraud prevention strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or equivalent professional expertise strongly preferred
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, including significant tenure in senior or executive-level claims roles
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale claims operations and transformation initiatives
- Deep expertise in property and material damage claims, including end-to-end lifecycle management
- Strong understanding of insurance regulatory frameworks, legal considerations, and fraud mitigation
- Proven capability in customer experience strategy and relationship management
- Extensive knowledge of modern management practices, organizational design, and performance leadership
- Strong business acumen with the ability to anticipate market trends and translate insights into strategic action
