About the opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Property Claims to join our Claims Senior Leadership Team and lead the strategic direction and operational performance of a national property claims organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic vision and operational performance of a national property claims organization.
- Partner with executive leadership to align claims operations with corporate objectives, underwriting strategy, and customer expectations.
- Oversee all aspects of property claims handling, ensuring timely, accurate, and fair claim resolution.
- Establish performance metrics and drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead large-scale transformation initiatives involving process modernization, automation, digital tools, AI, and advanced analytics.
- Develop strategies to address emerging industry challenges, including fraud, social inflation, and evolving regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate across underwriting, technology, legal, and operations to implement scalable solutions that improve outcomes and reduce cycle times.
- Champion a customer-first culture focused on transparency, responsiveness, and service excellence.
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing leadership teams while fostering accountability, engagement, and succession planning.
Qualifications
- Extensive leadership experience within property claims and/or material damage claims operations.
- Proven track record leading large-scale claims organizations and driving operational transformation.
- Deep understanding of claims management, regulatory compliance, risk management, and operational best practices.
- Experience implementing technology, automation, AI, or process improvement initiatives within a claims environment.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.
- Demonstrated success building and developing high-performing teams and future leaders.
- Strategic mindset with exceptional business acumen, analytical capabilities, and decision-making skills.
