VP, Imaging Services
Position Duties
Strategic Planning
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for Imaging Services aligned with organizational priorities.
- Partner with the Radiology Division Chief and executive leaders to advance service growth, quality, and innovation.
- Identify opportunities to improve access, operational performance, and patient experience.
Operational Excellence
- Provide enterprise oversight of imaging operations across all sites.
- Standardize workflows and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor key performance metrics and drive accountability.
Clinical Quality & Safety
- Partner with physician leadership to establish evidence-based practices.
- Promote quality, patient safety, accreditation readiness, and regulatory compliance.
Technology & Innovation
- Lead imaging technology, informatics, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Leverage analytics and AI-enabled solutions to improve care and efficiency.
Financial Stewardship
- Lead budgeting, capital planning, productivity, and resource utilization.
- Support sustainable growth and operational performance.
Ledership & Talent Development
- Recruit, develop, and mentor leaders and staff.
- Foster an engaged, accountable, high-performing culture and succession planning.
Research & Collaboration
- Support education, research, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Represent Imaging Services on executive committees.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field. Required
- Masters degree in health administration, business administration, or related field or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education. Required
- Applicable professional certification (ARRT, CRA, CIIP, FACHE or equivalent). Preferred
- 10+ years progressive healthcare imaging leadership with 5+ years in a Director, Executive Director, Vice President, or equivalent enterprise leadership role. Required
- Experience leading multi-site imaging operations, strategic planning, financial management, quality improvement, and physician partnerships. Required
- Comprehensive knowledge of diagnostic imaging operations, regulatory requirements, imaging technology, and clinical workflows gained through progressive healthcare leadership experience. Required
- Academic medical center, integrated health system, or pediatric experience. Preferred
- Demonstrated strategic thinking with the ability to communicate a clear and compelling vision, effective implementation plan, and delivery of measurable results. Required
- Extensive operations experience, including P&L responsibility, with the ability to solve for current and future business needs from a health care system point of view. Required
- Significant experience with multi-year capital budget planning processes with successful execution. Required
- Ability to effectively analyze complex issues and influence groups in developing solutions. Required
- Demonstrated ability of successfully implementing enterprise-wide, large scale improvement initiatives and impact on changing culture. Required
- Ability to manage results, processes and relationships while driving to identified outcomes. Required
- Ability to maintain effective and collaborative relationships with physicians, staff, executives, and management in a complex healthcare environment. Able to gain trust and respect. Required
- Knowledge of computer systems and software used in functional area and demonstrated computer skills. Required
