About the Role
The Vice President, Imaging Service Line serves as the health system's Chief Imaging Executive and is responsible for leading the strategy, operations, growth, and overall performance of imaging services across Harris Health. This role provides executive leadership for inpatient and outpatient imaging operations, with accountability for quality, access, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and service line growth. In addition to overseeing existing operations, this role will lead the development and execution of a systemwide imaging strategy, including the creation and expansion of a coordinated outpatient imaging division. The VP will drive efforts to enhance access, improve service delivery models, and strengthen the organization's competitive positioning in imaging services across the market.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, operations, growth, and overall performance of imaging services across Harris Health.
- Provide executive leadership for inpatient and outpatient imaging operations, ensuring accountability for quality, access, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and service line growth.
- Develop and execute a systemwide imaging strategy, including the creation and expansion of a coordinated outpatient imaging division.
- Drive efforts to enhance access, improve service delivery models, and strengthen competitive positioning in imaging services.
- Demonstrate perseverance in leading large-scale organizational change, navigating complexity, resistance, and ambiguity.
- Exhibit adaptability to adjust strategies, operating models, and approaches in response to evolving organizational, market, and industry dynamics.
- Lead through transformation, balancing long-term strategic objectives with near-term operational demands.
- Influence stakeholders and drive alignment across a complex health system with strong business acumen and executive presence.
Requirements
- Master's degree (required at hire or must be obtained within three years of hire date).
- ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB certification.
- Fifteen (15) years of experience in healthcare imaging services, including developing and executing strategies related to market expansion, access optimization, and new site or program development.
- Ten (10) years of management experience in healthcare imaging, preferably in an academic medical center, with demonstrated experience leading imaging service line growth across multiple care settings, including outpatient and ambulatory environments.
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, Outlook, and typing.
