About the role
As VP, Global Transformation Programs here at Chubb, you will lead our ambitious technology and operating model transformation, shaping business outcomes and market commitments.
Responsibilities
- Embedding directly with business and technology teams, owning the operational rhythm of initiatives.
- Producing executive-level reporting, managing demands on enabling functions, coordinating with Regional Delivery Leads for deployment, and maintaining the risk and issue log with honesty and rigor.
- Orchestrating transformation initiatives, ensuring disciplined and transparent delivery from planning through execution.
- Translating business priorities into actionable problem statements, clarifying what is being solved, for whom, and by when, while flagging scope concerns and prioritizing high-value work.
- Distinguishing genuinely new challenges from those already addressed within Chubb, preventing duplication and leveraging existing solutions.
- Defining success in outcome terms that the business can approve, focusing on realized change and embedding cross-geography solution design from the outset.
- Driving execution and value realization for initiatives with urgency and precision, maintaining alignment with business priorities and strategic intent.
- Integrating seamlessly with business and technology teams, collaborating with program managers to accelerate delivery and sustain momentum.
- Aligning initiatives to the transformation roadmap, architectural standards, and solution intent, ensuring cross-geography coherence and preventing fragmentation.
- Managing interfaces between squads and enabler teams (Tech, Data, Analytics, People), surfacing conflicts early and balancing demand with capacity.
- Monitoring delivery confidence, escalating risks promptly, clearing blockers proactively, and fostering business engagement through transparent reporting and demonstrated benefits.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 years’ progressive experience in transformation, program management, management consulting, or a related discipline.
- Proven track record delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives within large organizations, with clear accountability for business outcomes.
- Experience working with technology and data teams, with an understanding of how technical architecture decisions impact business value and delivery sequencing.
- Prior exposure to the insurance or financial services industry.
- Demonstrated product mindset, treating transformation as an end-to-end product and balancing business value, technical feasibility, dependencies, and delivery sequence.
- Working knowledge of the insurance value chain and relevant technical/data landscape, with the ability to deepen expertise over time.
- Proactive approach to removing barriers, supporting leaders, and driving progress with minimal direction.
- Strong communication skills across all organizational levels, with a focus on transparency and decisive action.
Benefits
The pay range for the role is $176,400 to $255,600. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
