About the role
The VP, Financial Consultant leads the financial guidance and wealth management services provided to clients. This role involves building strong client relationships, managing client assets, and guiding clients through various financial planning processes. The successful candidate will have a valid and active FINRA Series 7 license and will be required to obtain or acquire FINRA Series 66 (63/65) license and Life & Health Insurance licenses during their tenure.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive financial planning and wealth management advice to existing Schwab clients.
- Grow the practice through client asset consolidation, networking, and client referrals.
- Adapt and implement changes as market and business conditions evolve.
- Engage clients in discussions about market conditions, sound investing principles, and ideal wealth and long-term investment strategies.
- Manage wealth on behalf of clients including retirement planning, education planning, investment management, banking & lending management, insurance & risk management, and estate planning.
Requirements
- A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license required.
- Ability to build strong relationships, engage clients, and exceed client expectations.
- Leverage Schwab specialists, Schwab advice guidelines, knowledge of the markets, and inspire action to help clients achieve their financial goals.
- Openness to managing wealth on behalf of clients.
- Passion for community engagement and sharing market conditions, sound investing principles, and ideal wealth and long-term investment strategies.
