About the role
As a Financial Consultant at Schwab, you will be responsible for providing wealth management and financial planning advice to existing Schwab clients. Over time, you will grow your practice through client asset consolidation, networking, and earning client referrals.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial guidance to clients
- Build strong relationships with clients
- Engage and encourage trust with clients
- Deepen the client relationship through a focused communication strategy
- Exceed client expectations
- Manage wealth on behalf of clients including: Retirement Planning, Education Planning, Investment Management, Banking & Lending Management, Insurance & Risk Management, and Estate Planning
- Leverage Schwab specialists and advice guidelines
- Adapt and implement change as market and business conditions evolve
- Share and engage clients in discussions about market conditions, sound investing principles, and ideal wealth and long-term investment strategies
- Provide an outstanding investor experience
- Foster a passion for community engagement
Requirements
- A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license
- Obtaining or acquiring FINRA Series 66 (63/65) license and Life & Health Insurance during tenure
