VP - Finance

About the Role

This role assumes responsibility for strategic vision, long-term planning, direction, and overall accountability for division-wide functions. It involves communicating and interpreting organizational and departmental mission goals and objectives to all areas of responsibility, and providing leadership and direction in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of activities across all areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Ensures quality of care and patient satisfaction through oversight of policies, procedures, and improvement initiatives.
• Builds an engaged workforce through leadership, talent development, and collaborative employee relationships.
• Oversees research, education, and training to support cutting-edge patient care and services.
• Ensures operational profitability with sound financial performance.
• Develops and executes long-term strategic business plans that support business growth.
• Oversees the physical and technological infrastructure and develops organizational structures, programs, and processes.
• Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, or regulatory agency requirements and ensures compliance.
• Maintains and complies with the organization's Compliance & Privacy Program and Standards of Conduct.

Qualifications

• Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Healthcare, Business Administration, or related field.
• Work Experience Required: 10 years of experience in successfully managing complex hospital and financial systems.
• Certifications Preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Physical and Environmental Demands

This role involves Light Work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work, including significant walking, standing, or maintaining a production rate pace. There is no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissue, but there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or waste within a healthcare setting.

Note: This position may be remote, but individuals residing in Colorado, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington D.C. are not eligible for remote work.
