VP - Finance

About the role

This job assumes responsibility for strategic vision, long-term planning, direction, and overall accountability for division-wide functions. The role involves communicating and interpreting organizational and departmental mission goals and objectives, and providing leadership in the planning, implementation, and evaluation activities of all areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Ensures quality of care and patient satisfaction through oversight of policies, procedures, and improvement initiatives.
• Builds an engaged workforce through leadership, talent development, and collaborative employee relationships.
• Oversees research, education, and training to support cutting-edge patient care and services.
• Ensures operational profitability with sound financial performance.
• Develops and executes long-term strategic business plans that support business growth.
• Oversees the physical and technological infrastructure and develops organizational structures, programs, and processes.
• Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, or regulatory agency requirements and ensures compliance.
• Other related duties as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Healthcare, Business Administration, or related field (required).
• 10 years of experience in successfully managing complex hospital and financial systems (required).
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification (preferred).

• No occupational risk for exposure to communicable diseases, though there may be risk for exposure to hazardous medications or waste within the healthcare environment.
