VP Finance

About the role

The VP of Finance will lead financial strategy and operations within the accounting and finance department, ensuring effective management and planning within an international payments processor. This role is based in Irvine, CA and this role focuses on driving financial performance and supporting business growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support long-term business goals.
• Oversee global financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Manage and mentor the accounting and finance team to achieve department objectives.
• Identify opportunities for financial improvement and cost optimization.
• Lead financial due diligence for potential investments or acquisitions.
• Maintain strong relationships with external auditors, banks, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience in global payment processing or money transfer businesses is a must have for this position.
• Expertise in financial compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in analyzing financial data and providing strategic recommendations.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and senior management.
• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA preferred.

Pay & benefits

• Annual salary of $225,000 - $250,000, plus bonus and equity.

This role is onsite and based in Irvine, CA. Relocation for the right individual within the United States will be considered.
