About the role
This on-site position leads the mortgage division for Lennar’s Fayetteville homebuilding division. Relocation assistance is provided for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities
- Manage and develop branch staff, including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
- Oversee day-to-day mortgage operations: originating FHA/VA/conventional loans following Lennar Mortgage’s roadmap, performing pre-qualifications, taking applications, and communicating loan status updates.
- Develop branch business and actively participate in the company’s strategic planning.
- Set measurable, customer-service-focused goals and objectives.
- Create and maintain interfaces with lenders, division escrow coordinators, design centers, and sales agents; resolve issues with borrowers, sales consultants, and team members.
- Serve as the liaison between the homebuilding and mortgage divisions.
- Lead processing and Home Loan Advisors in implementing new programs and systems; delegate and review workflow.
- Oversee and facilitate the origination of mortgage loan transactions for the division’s homebuyers.
- Monitor lender programs and requirements; represent the Mortgage Division at builder grand openings, previews, sales meetings, and special functions.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and quality control.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–3 years as a branch manager.
- Minimum 4–5 years of mortgage application and processing experience or equivalent background.
- Current knowledge of closing and title requirements, loan processing, automated underwriting systems, and FHLMC/FNMA/FHA/VA underwriting guidelines.
- Current knowledge of self-employed borrower, partnership, and corporation tax return analysis.
- Strong computer background with 2–3 years of mortgage software experience and proficiency in Word and Excel.
- Strong mortgage operations background.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
