Regional Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Affiliate with the day-to-day management of assigned customer accounts.
• Conduct routine on-site inspections to ensure quality control and contract compliance.
• Perform tenant and property management visits as necessary.
• Prepare daily plans for evening shifts and special projects.
• Schedule and oversee periodic and specialty cleaning projects.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard onsite cleaning staff.
• Train onsite employees and site supervisors.
• Manage staffing levels to ensure proper coverage.
• Conduct employee performance evaluations.
• Administer disciplinary action in accordance with company policy and union guidelines.
• Manage employee timekeeping and payroll through custom software systems.
• Maintain payroll accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain key inventory, uniform distribution, and supply inventories.
• Place monthly supply orders and manage inventory controls.
• Conduct safety training and reinforce safe work practices.
• Correct unsafe work practices when observed.
• Maintain working knowledge of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with SEIU Local 32BJ.
• Communicate regularly with customers and property management.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Address service concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, or facilities management preferred.
• Prior supervisory or management experience required.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safe handling procedures.
• Working knowledge of SDS sheets and OSHA safety standards.
• Experience working with union labor; knowledge of SEIU Local 32BJ CBA strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings as required.
