Key Responsibilities
- Affiliate with the day-to-day management of assigned customer accounts.
- Conduct routine on-site inspections to ensure quality control and contract compliance.
- Perform tenant and property management visits as necessary.
- Prepare daily plans for evening shifts and special projects.
- Schedule and oversee periodic and specialty cleaning projects.
- Recruit, hire, and onboard onsite cleaning staff.
- Train onsite employees and site supervisors.
- Manage staffing levels to ensure proper coverage.
- Conduct employee performance evaluations.
- Administer disciplinary action in accordance with company policy and union guidelines.
- Manage employee timekeeping and payroll through custom software systems.
- Maintain payroll accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain key inventory, uniform distribution, and supply inventories.
- Place monthly supply orders and manage inventory controls.
- Conduct safety training and reinforce safe work practices.
- Correct unsafe work practices when observed.
- Maintain working knowledge of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with SEIU Local 32BJ.
- Communicate regularly with customers and property management.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Address service concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, or facilities management preferred.
- Prior supervisory or management experience required.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safe handling procedures.
- Working knowledge of SDS sheets and OSHA safety standards.
- Experience working with union labor; knowledge of SEIU Local 32BJ CBA strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings as required.
