About the role

This strategic digital product management role sits within the Acquisitions team in the Digital & Customer Experience (DCX) organization for U.S. Consumer Cards. The team's mission is to drive customer growth through best-in-class, data-driven acquisition experiences, spanning prospecting, application, approval, and onboarding journeys.

Responsibilities

  • Define and shape the forward-looking vision and strategy for digital acquisitions, incorporating emerging capabilities such as AI, personalization, and automation
  • Identify opportunities to transform acquisition journeys and unlock new sources of customer growth
  • Translate strategy into a clear, prioritized product roadmap
  • Develop clear, compelling narratives that articulate the value of acquisitions initiatives to senior leaders and cross-functional partners
  • Present product features and strategies with the right balance of detail for senior product/technology audiences and clarity for non-technical stakeholders
  • Influence decision-making across Product, Marketing, Risk, Technology, and Operations
  • Drive execution of key acquisition initiatives, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of features
  • Partner closely with engineering and scrum teams to guide effective Agile execution
  • Maintain strong ownership of delivery outcomes and step in to resolve critical issues, including production incidents, when necessary
  • Provide guidance and informal leadership to junior product managers, helping them effectively manage backlogs, run scrum ceremonies, and deliver value
  • Share best practices to strengthen overall product management discipline and execution quality across the team
  • Build and manage relationships with key business stakeholders and partner teams
  • Drive alignment across cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities
  • Make informed trade-off decisions that balance customer experience, business value, and technical feasibility
  • Define and monitor key acquisition KPIs (e.g., funnel conversion, application completion, approval rates, customer growth)
  • Use data and insights to continuously optimize performance and inform product decisions
  • Maintain strong focus on measurement, experimentation, and outcomes
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of risk, controls, and operational resilience
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and Citi’s control framework
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, particularly in technology implementations
  • Exercise sound judgment on when to escalate or intervene, especially in high-impact or production scenarios

Qualifications

  • 6–10 years of experience in digital product management, acquisitions, growth, or related roles
  • Proven ability to define product strategy and drive execution
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to tailor messaging across audiences
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments without direct authority
  • Solid understanding of Agile product development and delivery processes, including hands-on experience with tools such as Jira
  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on metrics, performance, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levels

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries
  • Experience optimizing digital acquisition funnels and customer journeys
