About the team
The Experience Design (XD) team is a collective of designers who intend to provide thoughtful and creative digital work that balances the goals of our users with those of our clients. Our solutions aim to add value, be intuitive, and drive success.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with UX design leads, copywriters, and art directors to drive a strategic and conceptual vision across various projects within the patient journey.
- Influence project level planning and overall design of the user experience for multiple projects.
- Build an experience strategy and collaborate with brand teams to execute the creation of the user experience design.
- Create a stronger agency/brand team perception as an expert to foster stronger relationships with higher-level department leaders.
- Generate high-fidelity, pixel-perfect visual designs and production assets.
- Participate in new business pitches as necessary.
- Actively seek and share digital inspiration (creative, UX, technology, general digital trends).
- Continuously learn and evaluate existing project work, focusing on UX areas of specialty and finding new opportunities within brand teams.
- Forward-thinking about what’s next for XD groups' capabilities and adding to them.
Qualifications
- 7+ years UX/UI design experience with a visual design or product design.
- Presents a strong design portfolio showcasing a variety of digital projects, including mobile-first websites and native phone or tablet applications.
- Proficient in the latest digital design tools including Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, and Zeplin.
- A strong passion for interface visual design, UX best practices, design systems, and prototyping.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with internal and external development teams.
- Detail focused, goal-oriented, and well organized.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, etc.
- Experience in staffing, managing, and mentoring lower-level UX designers.
- Experience in brief, budget, scope, and timeline creation in conjunction with project management group.
- Experience in reviewing existing systems and processes to identify UX issues and develop UX recommendations.
- Experience in user-centered design methods and techniques and strong experience strategy skills.
- Working knowledge of accessibility and WCAG standards.
- Ability to distill complex ideas into simple concepts, defend your work, and be the expert in the room.
- An organic growth mindset.
- Experience managing lower-level designers and providing direction and guidance.
- Ability to lead and drive the XD group forward through new thinking, process additions, ways of collaboration, and creative problem-solving skills.

Pay
$130,000 - $140,000
Schedule
Minimum of three days a week in the office, with a goal to increase this requirement over time.
